Melissa has over 10 years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, home of the 4th Trimester research project. In addition, Melissa has obtained board certification in biofeedback for pelvic muscle dysfunction (BCB-PMD), is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, National Association for Continence and the International Pelvic Pain Society. After the birth of her second child, Melissa experienced severe pelvic pain, which drew her to the specialty area of treating pelvic floor issues. As people suffering with pain, incontinence or prolapse are often underserved, Melissa finds great joy in helping others find relief. When she isn’t at the clinic, Melissa loves to visit Colorado and enjoys time with her family.
