Michelle is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women's Health. She began her career as a PT in inpatient rehabilitation, with intensive training in neuro-developmental technique (NDT). Since 1996, her training has evolved in getting certified in lymphedema management; managing and treating patients in a skilled nursing unit; treating acute care patients, including wound care; and getting trained in pelvic floor health. Her experience in various aspects of movement dysfunction has given her a wholistic perspective of a person's issues. When a person comes in with a pelvic floor dysfunction concern, she seeks information beyond the pelvic floor that may be contributing to the issue. Michelle works within a hospital system that has a support system for discussing cases; exploring treatment ideas; and pursuing continuing education.
