Rachel is an Occupational Therapist based in Denver, Colorado. After earning her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in 2013, she worked in home health serving the geriatric population and specializing in Dementia Care and Parkinson's Disease. She then worked for 6 years in the Denver Health hospital system, working in acute and inpatient rehab in the level one trauma hospital, followed by the Acute Center for Eating Disorders unit where she became the first occupational therapist to become a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). While working at Denver Health, she started to see a strong correlation between eating disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction, which inspired her professional growth in the direction of pelvic health. She's studied pelvic floor dysfunction through both traditional and western medical lenses. She's completed Herman and Wallace courses in biofeedback, Pelvic Floor level 1, 2A and 2B. Rachel is passionate about reproductive health, social justice and trauma-informed care, and is excited with the opening of her private practice in 2022 to better serve her community at large.
