Sami Turley received her bachelor’s in pre-professional physical therapy (2009) and her doctorate in physical therapy (2011) from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, rehab units, home health, pediatrics, neurological rehab, outpatient orthopedics and pelvic health/women’s health. She gained an understanding of every phase of development and rehabilitation from the variety of settings she has worked in, and has been able to apply that to pelvic rehabilitation. She is passionate about re-creating the connection between the core and pelvic floor, and enjoys the challenge of differential diagnosis. She treats men and women for all pelvic health related conditions, hip injuries, diastasis recti, pregnancy/postpartum, bowel/bladder dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, prolapse, etc. She owns a small private practice in Columbia, MO called "Mission Therapy" and also works at the VA Hospital in Columbia, MO serving veterans.
