Dr. Sara Bolden is a licensed physical therapist, a board-certified women’s health clinical specialist and certified functional medicine provider. She specializes in helping individuals with pelvic pain, urogynecology disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction. She was the first board-certified women’s health clinical specialist in Atlanta and metro-Atlanta regions and founder of one of Atlanta’s first pelvic floor rehabilitation, Women First Rehabilitation. Women First Rehabilitation is devoted entirely to helping individuals (men and women) with pelvic pain and pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Bolden has authored a book entitled What a Girl Wants: The Good Girls’ Guide to Great Sex, a self-help guide for couples wanting to improve their intimacy. She is an alumnus of LSU receiving a BS in Biochemistry/pre-Medicine as well as Shenandoah University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004. Dr. Bolden has a passion for the field of women's health and maintains an evidence-based practice. She is a member with good standing with the APTA, GA Chapter of APTA, Interstitial Cystitis Network, IPPS and the International Society of the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH).
