Simona is a lifelong Brooklynite who has been caring for her community since 2013. She specializes in pelvic floor therapy, with a focus on individuals who feel stuck or frustrated by traditional approaches that haven’t fully worked for them. Rather than focusing only on exercises or standard physical therapy techniques, Simona takes a whole-person approach—addressing the pelvic floor in connection with the nervous system, breathing patterns, and the impact of stress, trauma, and each person’s unique lived experience. Sessions are collaborative, gentle, and tailored to your comfort level, whether you’re experiencing pain, bowel or bladder concerns, postpartum changes, cancer recovery, or healing after gender-affirming surgery. Through NYU’s Family Health Center, she provides pelvic floor therapy, oncology-informed rehabilitation, and post–gender-affirming surgical care. Sessions are 45 minutes, one-on-one, and designed so you feel heard and supported. Simona accepts most insurance plans and is committed to providing LGBTQIA-affirming, trans-competent care. Doctor of Physical Therapy, New York University, 2012
