Sonia Punjabi, PT, DPT

Sonia G. Punjabi, PT, DPT (she/her) is a full-time Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist at UHealth Tower. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Cell Biology and Physiology from Northwestern University, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a specialty in pelvic floor physical therapy from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is adept at treating pelvic conditions in all genders including, but not limited to: - Antepartum and postpartum pain - Bowel and bladder incontinence - Constipation - Diastasis recti - Endometriosis-related pain - Painful/diminished sexual activity - Pelvic girdle joint pain - Post-prostatectomy recovery - Prolapse symptoms - Pudendal neuralgia - Recurrent UTIs and interstitial cystitis - Tailbone pain - Vaginismus - And more. She incorporates her backgrounds in neurophysiological quieting as well as performing arts and resistance training for maximized pelvic patient outcomes. Outside of the clinic she can be found lifting weights, longboarding poorly, applying her anatomical knowledge to figure drawing, and looking at cats.
