Sonja White, PT, DPT PRPC
Mercy Hospital Love Family Women's Center
I graduated from The University of Oklahoma in 2010 with BA degree in Zoology-biomedics and then attended The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and graduated with a Doctor of Physical therapy degree in 2014. My first 6 years of working I treated a wide range of orthopedics, spine, neuro, and pediatrics in a rural clinic then transitioned to a very busy clinic in Oklahoma City where I continued to treat these as well as beginning my career shift into pelvic health rehab. I have had 4 deliveries myself and after my 2nd delivery I had pelvic floor physical therapy and it made such a lasting impact on me. I saw the need for more pelvic rehab providers and developed a passion for treating pelvic floor dysfunction. In 2024 I began working at a women's center and I received my Pelvic Rehab Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace Institute. I enjoy treating all things pelvic related including bowel and bladder issues, prolapse, pregnancy, post-partum, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and peri and post-menopausal changes. I especially love treating hip and back pain and think "outside the box" when it comes to treatment! I have taken courses through the Postural Restoration Institute and completed multiple mentorships for general pelvic health and pregnancy/postpartum.
