I look forward to helping people in their journey towards pelvic health. I couldn't be more passionate about coming alongside women to utilize physical therapy to increase mobility, confidence, and strength in the pelvic region. I have been a licensed PT for ten years and have been practicing pelvic floor PT since 2013. I learned early on how to keep people comfortable during uncomfortable situations and conversations. This comfort level came from almost ten years of helping people with awkward, restroom-type activities prior to being a licensed PT. I worked weekends at the local hospital as a PT tech, which involved a lot of toileting, nakedness, and wounds in private places. Once I graduated, I moved on to outpatient PT. Still, I began to see that some of my patients suffering from "general low back pain" also had incontinence or deeper pelvic pain, and so I added the PFPC into my aspirations. The pelvic floor and its anatomy make sense to me because everything is all connected. In the meantime, I had three children, ages 6, 3, and 1, and have earned my own pelvic floor dysfunction. I have always had a passion for healthy marriages and intimacy and enjoy walking people through their journey and meeting them along the way, whether they have had pelvic floor dysfunction for six weeks or even six decades. They are just muscles, just in a weird spot. You are fearfully and wonderfully made
