Sue Dupont, MS, MBA, PT, ATC, Cert. D.N. is a specialist in the field of orthopedics, sports medicine, and Rehab Pilates. She is certified in Women’s Pelvic Health, Dry Needling, Cert. Strength and Conditioning (CSCS, ret.) as well as Functional Medicine Coaching for Women's Health and Menopausal issues. She has over 35 years of experience treating patients, clients and athletes of all ages and abilities. She holds multiple degrees: • B.S. Exercise Science/Athletic Training – Penn State University • B.S. Physical Therapy – University of Central Florida • M.S. Biology/Biomechanics – Bucknell University • MBA Healthcare Management – Saint Leo University Specialty skills include: • Manual therapy (osteopathic, MSK, NMT, Maitland, etc.) • Certified in Mat & Reformer Pilates (pending) techniques through Stott Pilates & Balanced Body • Spine and chronic pain management, degenerative scoliosis and post-op spine • Orthopedics and sports medicine, post-op rehabilitation, joint replacement • Women’s Pelvic Floor Therapy for bowel/bladder incontinence, organ prolapse, pain & weakness, post-partum, post-surgical • Neurological disorders (MS, Parkinson's, SCI) and balance, dizziness, vertigo • Certified Dry Needling utilizing a neuromuscular approach • Custom foot orthotics casting and fitting • Biomechanical gait analysis & Functional Movement Assessment • Kinesiotaping and other taping techniques She has served on the sports medicine staff at the US Olympic Training Center and the Olympic Games, traveled with elite and professional athletes around the world, and managed healthcare services for the WTA professional tennis tour. She has also served as Sports Medicine Consultant & guest lecturer for university classes and community groups, including Edison College, Florida Southwestern College, Bucknell University, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training and USA Fit Marathon training group. She also contributes her sports medicine and orthopedic skills for charitable events such as Madisen’s Match, which benefits Golisano Children’s Hospital, treating both celebrity tennis legends and local recreational players. She has been developing her techniques in Rehab Pilates for over 25 years, and she now owns Align PT and Pilates studio in Fort Myers, FL. She is an accomplished athlete herself, having completed 14 marathons, 6 Half Ironman events, a competitive USTA tennis league player, and earned a second-degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
