Teresa M Durkin, DPT, PRPC
University Health
I am a board certified pelvic floor PT from the KC area and practice in downtown KC at University Health-Truman Medical Center. I am a former athlete, mother of 3 and passionate PF PT who seeks to empower women about their own healthcare journey. I graduated from St. Louis University and worked all over the country prior to landing back in KC. I work with an incredible team of 4 uro-gynecologists as well as a large team of more than a dozen OB-gyns, as well as with GI specialists, urologists, and sports medicine physicians. 2 days a week, I'm in our high risk-gynecological specialty clinic, working alongside these uro-gynecologists and ob-gyn providers. Patients deserve to understand what is happening to their body, and, more importantly, what we can do as a team to improve their quality of life. If you're having pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, difficulty managing urine or bowels, or are trying to get back into shape post-partum (however long ago that postpartum journey was), I'm here to help and advocate for you!
