Terri Robertson Elder, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT-LANA
Thrive Physio
Dr. Terri Robertson Elder (she/her) is passionate about collaborating with people experiencing uncertainty about pelvic, bladder, or bowel symptoms to find understanding and relief, so that they may thrive and cultivate joy in movement and sport. Terri opened Thrive Physical Therapy to offer a personalized model of Physical Therapy, so that people may experience convenience and relief. Thrive Physio offers mobile (Brevard, NC and surrounding areas) visits, telehealth visits, and in-clinic appointments in a beautiful spa-like environment. Terri graduated from Georgia State University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014, following a decade-long career as a neuromuscular massage therapist and educator. She has spent the last 6 years as a Physical Therapist at a large hospital system, practicing in acute care as well as outpatient, with primary areas of interest in oncology treatment and pelvic health. Terri also holds certifications as a Kripalu yoga teacher and Pilates instructor and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Dr. Robertson Elder also holds a position as part-time faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy at Georgia State University. Terri relocated to Brevard, NC in 2019 in search of more hiking and biking trails, and a wonderful community to share with her partner and two-year-old (and Whiskey the dog!). She is a reluctant-turned-avid runner, food-obsessed music fanatic who also loves lifting heavy stuff. “My mission on the planet is to put LOVE into action by approaching myself and others with CURIOSITY and COMPASSION, seeking to CULTIVATE health and wellness for all.”
