Tyler Johnson, PT, DPT Peak Fitness and Physical Therapy
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion and desire to help people on their journey to health. Physical therapy allows me to pair hands-on skills with in-depth knowledge in order to educate individuals to take control of their health and well-being. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. After completing my formal education, I completed additional specialty training in pelvic floor PT through the Herman and Wallace Institute, which specializes in educating therapists in pelvic rehabilitation. My work experience includes PT positions in skilled nursing facilities, acute care, outpatient neuro and ortho rehab, and balance and vestibular rehab. Throughout these settings, I have repeatedly seen individuals with a huge gap in care related to pelvic health, from pain and incontinence to more personal sexual dysfunctions. People are in need, and pelvic health PT is the missing link in care! I desire to create a space for men to seek help with conditions that most practitioners are unwilling or untrained to address. There are currently many excellent practitioners focused on women’s health, but very few who focus on understanding and treating the issues that men experience. I am part of an excellent team of Physical Therapists at Peak Fitness and Physical Therapy in Chattanooga, TN. We provide comprehensive and specialized orthopedic and rehabilitation services in an individualized, one-on-one setting.
